I’m a journalist creating stories about human rights around the world.
I am especially interested in immigration, abortion, religion, and the environment. My geographical regions of interest are the United States, Latin America, and South Asia.
I am an optimist and an idealist, and I believe we can create a more compassionate world through stories. I like traveling, talking to strangers, late nights, and new languages.
I grew up in Princeton, NJ, and graduated from Columbia with a bachelor’s degree in human rights and a master’s degree in journalism. I am currently a David Jayne Fellow on the international desk at ABC News.
I was selected by NYT columnist Nick Kristof for his 2024 win-a-trip contest and will be traveling and reporting with him in Kenya, Madagascar, and Mauritius this winter. I’m also an Overseas Press Club Foundation award winner, a FASPE fellow, an Uproot environmental justice fellow, an NBC scholar at Columbia Journalism School, and an AIR new voices fellow.
